New Blacoh Hybrid Valve™

The new patent pending Hybrid Valve from Blacoh combines the steady flow control of a pulsation dampener and the regulation of a back pressure valve to deliver the performance and functionality of both. And it does it better! This means less space, fewer leak point, less maintenance, and better efficiency. It is available in PVC or CPVC.
See the valve in action:

Pressure Relief Valves

SENTINEL diaphragm pressure relief valves operate when the pressure in the pumping system exceeds the preset pressure of the valve. The diaphragm is held against the valve seat by an internal spring. When the preset pressure is exceeded the diaphragm is forced up and the system fluid flows out the relief port, back to the system fluid tank or to the suction side of the pump. The valves are pre-set at 50 psi, however they are field adjustable from 10 - 150 psi, (optional 350 psi) via the adjustment screw. The relief valve should be set approximately 15 psi higher than the system pressure. Installation should be made as close to the pump as possible, without any valves or accessories between the relief valve and the pump.

Back Pressure Valves

SENTINEL diaphragm back pressure valves apply positive discharge pressure to a metering pump system to prevent siphoning and eliminate varying dosage rates caused by fluctuating downstream pressure. The diaphragm is held against the valve seat by an internal spring. When the preset pressure is exceeded, the diaphragm is forced up and system fluid flows through the valve to the injection point. The valves are preset for 50 psi, however they are field adjustable from 10 - 150 psi via the adjustment screw. Installation should be as close to the injection point as possible to prevent system line drainage, and it is most important that all pumping system equipment such as pulsation dampeners and pressure gauges are between the pump and back pressure valve.

Diaphragm failure of your Air Operated Diaphragm Pump allows process fluid to escape from the pump's air exhaust port. Unmonitored, the spill can create an extreme expense for your company in lost product, material cleanup, and EPA reporting.

The patented SPILLSTOP Leak Containment System prevents costly and hazardous spills caused by pump diaphragm failure. The SPILLSTOP's patented design safely captures leaked product while effectively shutting down failing pumps. Optional warning alarm and backup pump switchover further ensures maximum productivity and minimal system downtime.

SpillStop Benefits

  • Prevents hazardous and costly spills due to failed pump diaphragms
  • Eliminates the loss of product
  • Minimizes costly system downtime
  • Avoids costly EPA reporting
  • Reduces dangerous airborne materials that are expelled from pump exhaust

Spill Stop Features

  • Compatible with all AODD pumps with discharge sizes from 1/4"(6.35mm) to 4"(101.6mm)
  • All Pneumatic No hazardous electronics or unreliable batteries used
  • Warning alarm and automatic backup pump switchover options available
  • Standard models available from stock
  • Custom models available
